So they arrived and the verdict is . . . . pretty poor, as I kind of expected.

You can see in the photo that the quality is poor compared to OEM.

With that said the one I replaced does work and at least the alignment has stayed solid since I installed it. So it'll do for now until I get something better.

The easy way of doing this is just get a credit card, slide it under the jet then just work your way around it lifting it until it pops out.

Just be careful about not letting the washer tube fall back down, or it'll be a pain to grab it.

and have tested the one's of the wife's C3 Picasso which are the same one's.
My washer bottle motor doesn't need replacing with these, they work fine in the same location as the Pandas originals.
BUT (n) the hole is too big for the new ones.
BUT (y) i'm gonna Epoxy resin a small piece of plastic into the hole, fit the new washer jets into that new bit of plastic..
i will post pic's when this project is finished

It isn't necessary to remove either the wiper arms or the scuttle to remove the washer jets. They can be removed from above using a credit or debit card or similar, just push it under the sides of the jets and there is a 'springy' tab that can be felt on each side that if depressed allows the assembly to be removed. There is a bit of a knack to it and once you have the jet out and separated from the pipe care needs to be taken that the pipe doesn't recoil behind the scuttle. I cleaned mine by soaking for an hour or so in a mixture of boiling water, washing up liquid white vinegar.
I did this to mine at the weekend, out and in dead easy, some right crap came out with the hot water and vinegar

Readjusted them to the top 1/3rd of the screen, lets see how long they last

At least they will work during the mot now

Update:

Turns out the ones I got were crap, as expected I guess. I have less issue of the angle going out of line, rather now the entire barrel (if that's the word) has started to pop out when using them.

Time to find some more.

I like the look of those.

Going to hold off because as of today I just quit my job so need every penny. But the second I've got regular work again, I'll get a set of them.
