Last one I did on a FIAT was an R reg Cinq. Now, the Cinq may be built better, but the materials are the same. More recently I replaced the rubber flexis on the MR2 with Goodridge. I did snap one of the hard hoses on the car I nicked the braided ones from, but nowt rounded off.
you got it now so not massively important but yes the resivoir just pulls out, its really tight though - if its levered you gotta be careful to not damage the rubber seals.
and ones that get stuck if you cut the pipe you can stick a 6-sided socket on it, that normally does the trick if its really stuck.
a little heads up to people that will be changing front rubber brake hose for the first time, be prepared to change the whole brake pipe attached to it, mine was so rusty when unscrewing the bolt that it broke
Sometimes they just will. Plus Gas or GT 85 really helps (as I said), but if they snap after that, chances are they'd leak within 6 months anyway. Replace with cupronickel (kunifer, etc.) and brass fittings and they'll outlive the rest of the car.
