Hello. Having fixed the MOT failure lower arms on my 100hp with great advice from the forum, im now looking once again at the long list of cosmetic issues with my car. The seats, mainly front driver and passenger, are pretty ropey. I'm the umpteenth owner, and the drivers seat, apart from having apparently been used as a mobile canteen, has dropped such that there is a gap between backrest and seat. Also, the bolsters have moved / deformed. From what I can gather seats from the Fiat 500 can be dropped in with little or no modification. They look quite smart. I wonder if anyone has done this, whether the seats that might be used are limited to particular models or years, or any thoughts / opinions other panda owners have. Thanks. Jon.

Yes you can fit 500 seats to a Panda, however you will need to drill off one of the old panda seat brackets and fit it to the new 500 seat, the other 3 mounts are the same afaik so with replacing that bracket it should drop straight in. Check out this post, which shows which bracket you need to swap: https://www.fiatforum.com/panda/253497-1368-16v-fire-turbo-fast-road-panda-5.html

As for the rear seats they look a bit different, however they do seem to have similar mounting holes (if not the same). If you can get a full 500 set for a good price it might be worth a try!

Thanks everyone. Sounds like a goer then if I can source some seats. My Panda Cross, had split folds but not on the 100. I will bear that in mind, plus the extra brackets and I will check out the other posts mentioned. Cheers.

the later 2012 pandas have better seats. I believe they are better made than the 500s

again 3 out of 4 holes line up

no idea if the rail swaps over but an adaptor can be knocked up out of some flat bar

Stay safe with any modification. In an accident the seat can take some heavy loads.

Anything is possible regarding seat swapping, the only thing holding this back would be your own skills at making the rails and other things fit/function.

Modification will have to be declared to your insurance company

on an old car with loads of spares available. Sometimes its easer just to aquire the original parts.
