OK, I have been trying to remove the radio (original) from our Panda (2013 plate). The radio only has two release holes, not the standard four.
I've seen a few posts on here and elsewhere where people haven't had much success, so I thought I'd post my findings.
I tried the standard 2 prong tools, bent to 90 degrees and no joy.
Eventually I tried a torx driver, and this is important bit, of the exact size of the hole and voila, out she came, still tight but moveable. Interestingly a hex driver of the right size didn't work (or maybe if rotated to the right angle it might have), the point being that to push the retaining clips far enough to release the radio, whatever you poke in the holes must be a snug fit. I hope this helps others struggling in their radio removals.
