General removing rust from engine??

Which is the best product or cheap method to remove all rust from engine and on the sides of the bonet inside and i want to touch it up wiv come black paint but which paint would be best to use on the engine and inside?

High temperature engine paint would be best. You could use hammerite for the bonnet.

Just make sure you scrub off as much as the rust as possible first, and treat it with some K-Rust before painting

Pour coke over it. Leave to soak for a few minutes, scrub with a stiff bristled brush then wash off with water.

Seriously, sounds strange but works brilliantly!

As for the paint, sensible advice above.
