Styling Removing orange bits on Seicento?

I have a Seicento Sporting and it has those ugly orange strips on the front and back. Is it possible to remove them, if so how?

theres a sticky at the top!

the front one is a case of takin of the bumper im afraid, but apparently it aint that bad a job. I aint tried, but thats one thing for the summer!

May have a go at that if I feel up to it, removing the bumpers is a worry though as I've never done anything like that before.

edit - in that guide it says something about repainting them the colour of your choice.. do they need to be re-attached or will everything be ok if I just take them off?
