Can anyone tell me (preferably with photos) how to remove the front seats from a mk2? Thanks!

No photos I'm afraid but its something like this:
Slide the seat all the way forward and tilt it forward.Look in the runner and you will see a tab that sticks out near the back, this stops the seat coming out of the runner completely. Tap this back with a hammer and punch so it is flush with the runner. Put the seat back down, slide it back and remove the three 13mm bolts and plate that clamp the front leg to the floor. You can then slide the seat all the way back and out of the runner before lifting it out of the car.
