General Removing Aerial

Does anyone know how to remove the aerial from a mk2? The base part of it...

Do you just pull it off? I dont wanna break it..

i think you have to remove the courtesy light and there is a bolt underneath undo this and it should be it!

I'd suggest u remove the ariel first...
Then Pop the interior light out (Watch out u dont break the clips on the side...)

Then there is a 12mm or 14mm Nut on the inside
And simply just undo that
The cable with drop off - and keep the washer if it has one

And HEY PRESTO done
While its off - i advise u clean around it -u'd be surprised what sits under there....
