Refurbing alloys

Thank you Punto. I'm sure there will be plenty of questions from me then.... I've got quite a few dents and scratches I may or may not try to sort out.

But for now, I would love some advise about the finish on my next alloy refurb project, was thinking black but metallic.... Can that be done?
