Red Key?

Red Key

Any response Nigel? You say that we should use the red key every three to six months. I am concerned that I havn't been doing this and I could be harming my car. Cannot find anything in my hand book to resolve the matter! Thanks.

You know what.....neither can I now! I am sure I didn't dream it, unless it was in one of my Alfa handbooks. I do know that Fiat RECOMMEND that you do so (although I never have!) but I am buggered if I can find it in the handbook now. I only know this as my firend with a Brava ELX has continual code problems and thye always say "its because you havent started it wit the red key occasionally". But then again that could be a Fiat bullshit excuse for not being able to fix it!

It does say though that the red key should be used "only when absolutely necessary"

As for the starting issue, please accept my sincere apologies Tipo lad, I know I have seen it in b&w but like I say - I can't bloody see where now!
