i went to buy a bravo today, but when i went to collect the car, the guy selling it said he didnt have a red key for it. but he showed me a green key and said that it was the master key for the car and i could clone a red key from it. i decided not to buy the car. he wanted £1350.00 for a 1.4 12v sx S-reg. was i right in not buying it and whats the deal with this green key, never hear of it before

green is proubly just a cloned blue, ive had cloned blues before thar were red but that dont make them a master. you proubaly will never need a red key, if you did there are ways around it.
but from what i have read about the 1.4 you would be best of avoiding it and getting the better 1.2

I haven't seen a green one before either. Presumably as he says he lost the red one ad the green one is a clone from one of the blue ones. Also I wouldn't buy the 1.4 either, get a 1.2 you get the same performance for less pretol and tax :).

the only prob is that i have a limit of around £1500.00. i did a bit of reading on the site and i notice people talk about how the 1.4 burn a lot of fuel. i had i punto 1.1 sx but it was in and accident where some1 crashed into it breaking off the left front wheel. So i am just looking for a new car and liked the way the bravo shaped even the one i had a looked at was real nice but red key put me off big time. Although the 1.2 is better its a little bit out of my buget right now.Look like i might av to look at civic now.. :)
