Hello everyone.

I've just bought myself a Cinquecento sporting, pick it up Friday, and I was wondering what mod’s everyone recommends to give it a bit more poke.

Also I've got a knackered Uno turbo sitting in the back garden, does anyone know if its possible put the turbo brakes on the Cinq'? And what about the engine, will that fit?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

brakes, yes - speak to rallycinq. I beleive he runs uno turbo brakes on his cinq. It'll need some custom spacers fabircated.

Uno turbo engine wont fit easily into the cinq, but like always - if you can throw loads of money at it, it can be done.

mod wise i'd recomend

GSR induction kit.
Punto60 throttle body
Chip from mckrich

Suspension wise, drop it at least 40mm all round.

The punto60 engine will fit into the cinq very easily, have a read of the cento engine swap thread thats pinned at the top of this forum.

Welcome to the mad house, got any pics of the car - or any more info?

:D

just dug out this link

its a cinq with an uno turbo engine in it

they certainly do cos he went to get some new disks from motor serv and they went and checked to mae sure they were GT brakes and they were. when you look through the wheel all you can see is brake disc.

Fact 1. Punto GT front discs will fit under 13 inch wheels.

Fact 2. If you wish to fit calipers to the discs, then you will need 14 inch wheels.

Fact 3. Uno turbo vented discs will fit with a 9mm spacer between the hub and disc.

Fact 4. Uno turbo calipers will fit straight on and fit under 13 inch wheels.

Cheers

well i can tell you that spudguns cinq stops a lot quicker than mine with punto GT discs and im running black diamond combi discs and predator pads. even with a boot full of ice and 3 ppl in it stops better.

Fact 5. If fitting the Punto GT disc there is no way any caliper can fit under a 13 inch wheel.

I have Uno Turbo vented discs and matching calipers on the front of my Cinq, yes. I use Mintex 1144 material. I took the original Sporting front wheel spacers and had them machined down in diameter to fit inside the disc bell. I didn't have the spacer thinned from 10mm to 9mm, I use 1mm washers on the calipers.

Cheers
