Technical Rear wiper - please help the confused !

On fleabay you can see rear blades that look like they clip in, and the adverts claim so, but when I checked my 2007 Dynamic it looks like it has the usual type where you need to replace the whole arm.

Can you please help out this old, frozen, confused loonie

it's the metalic one in mine too and in every bravp I've seen, I know they replace the whole arm at the dealer.

I've just had a good butchers and I do have the unclip version

lift the arm up and you can see where the blade can be unliped from the arm - oh goodie and cheaper and quicker to install fix

I know mine's a clip one as some bugger pinched it inbetween buying the car and collecting it! Fortunately the garage got me a new one.

I've replaced only the rubber blade. Cheaper.

That's what I did on the B1 and will do with the B2, as and when.

Does anyone have any tips please - I've ordered a Bosch blade any my wiper appears to have a slot inside of it where it clips in/out but its not coming out despite a fair bit of pressure. What is the metallic bit people are referring to please? I seem to be able to get the rubber out so guess I could just replace that.

This how I do mine:

Slide the old one out, slide the new one in.
With the B1 I had to cut a replacement blade to size as the exact size was not available.
Not had to do the B2 yet.

I'll just do this then rather than risk breaking the arm I think.
