Anyone changed the rear springs, it it a simple or difficult job

Easy! I used a trolley jack on the large circular beam in front of the spare wheel well to jack up back of car until both rear wheels were off the ground. Remove both rear wheels. On one side support suspension arm with another jack. Remove lower shock absorber bolt. Lower jack until spring is loose. Remove spring. Insert new spring. Jack up suspension arm until shock absorber bolt can be refitted. Repeat on other side.
Simples!

Thanks for that
The circular beam
Is that the axle
I wasn't sure if I could jack up with that

It's not an axle like on a rear wheel drive car. It's more like a cross member of the rear subframe. I've jacked my car up on this beam on many occasions with no problem.

I wish there were more guides. I still can't figure out how to replace a front direction indicator light bulb :(

Rob. Why do you need to change the rear springs? (I'm just being nosy!)
I have a good pair of rear shocks if you need them.

I put new shocks on earlier in the year, one had a leak, that was quite simple, springs are vet rusty so I thought this winter new springs and discs, and a good sand and repainted under the back end
