Styling rear speakers in a cinq?

i'm sure most of you have fitted them

and i'm about to (just some 6x9's) but i was wondering where is generally accepted to be the best place to run the speaker cable through to the back nice and neatly?

ideally with the minimum amount of hassle and carpet removal

i bow down to your greater collective wisdom in this matter

runs fine under the passenger kick plates from the side of the boot as i remember.

Right,

Under passenger dash and then under the plastic sill guard, pops off easy enough and then under the seats into the boot.

Hope you know what I mean?

tis the easiest car to do this in.

thats how ive done mine aswell

Ive done mine in an almost the same way, but insead of the kicker i had to put it a bit further under the carpet becuase of the amount of wiring already there from the toad alarm and plus im running 3 amps. lol
But yeah really easy to do!

great so the general consensus is that it's not too hard to do

i'm not 100% sure what a kick plate is though

It's easy it only gets interesting when u have to run amp power cables etc... through as well.

The kick plates are the plastic trim near where the door shuts that just pull off. To get the drivers side off u need to pull the boot catch up and move the seat forward and back but still easy to do. I'll get some pics with my phone in a min if you want?

oh right, cool, thought that's what they were

i shall make a start on the wiring once i have constructed my 'stealth' shelf (basically sticking some fabric over the top of the shelf and the speakers)

yep that looks just about exactly what i'm going to do (although i think i'll stick to black for mine - or maybe yellow, if i can find some suitable fabric that matches)

Go to your local car audio place......

I got enough of that red material to cover my whole car for 10notes!
It's the same stuff used for bass boxes etc... as well
