Rear Speaker wiring

Hi all
Im installing some parcel shelf speakers in my sporting mk1, the origional speakers are there at the mo but was wondering what coloured wires go to which terminals ( i need to extend wires to reach parcel shelf). I dont have a Haynes as it dont cover the sporting mk1. (waiting for workshop cds)

It doesnt particularly matter. Just try both ways round and listen to which is best. Its more important that you wire the speakers to the same phase. Ie if 2 wires (one each side of the car) have a stripe on them then use them for the same terminals on the speakers.
