rear speaker problem

i have just bought some standard rear speakers as mine did not have any in when i bought it, i plug them into the correct places and there is no sound. even when fully faded to the rear.

im thinking that i could remove headunit to see if there is a connection fault. how do i remove the headunit, it is a blaupunkt mp36 santa cruz headunit.

you need the correct stereo removal keys.

on the blaupunkt mp36 santa cruz those keys go down each side of the stereo once the surround trim is removed.
