Technical Rear passenger door qont open from outside.

Over a year ago the rear passenger door stopped opening from the outside, opens from the inside no problem and didn't think it would cause an issue until the MOT today, they called and said they can't do the MOT until its fixed as its a safety issue if emergency services need to get in. Does anyone know a fix for this that won't cost an arm and a leg. Thank you for any help.

@Pollytoast Well covered in several previous threads - many of which appear in the 'similar threads' list at the bottom of this page -- basically, needs a new lock actuator

Probably a failed lock actuator.
