General Rear fog light clarification.

If I switch to side lights or main beam they go off (even if the fogs switch is on), which as Dave says makes total sense as using main beam/ side lights in fog is stupid because you just end up seeing less!

ok, i had previously thought that the fog lights on my car were just not working at all... but i can see i shall have to go and check with headlights on

would you get the idiot light on anyway?

No the light on the dash goes off when switched to main beam or sidelights.
