Technical Rear Disc Conversion

hey people

another little thing...

ive just bought myself the calipers from a fiat maera to upgrade the fronts.

can i use the original (smaller) calipers + discs etc from the front to do the rear disc conversion?

no you need a handbrake.....

you need the uno rears or the marea (or similar) rears with the handbrake attachment...

will they take the same discs and pads as the standard sei fronts though?

i only got new ones a few months back, and dont want them to go to waste...

no. there different callipers... there for the bin tbh. unless anyone with a 126 wants to buy the disks,callipers and pads as its a good upgrade.. but there abit rare.

You could use the front cento disc (240x11) for the rear conversion, if you get calipers that are after 97. So UT rear calipers are no good, if that is your plan.

Yes that is it, but make sure those disc are in good condition tho . They are normall pretty cheap from local motor factor.

Before you get the caliper, check on this site to make sure it uses 240x11 disc:
