Technical Rear Brakes

Hi Happy new year to all,

My problem is that after a couple of days I have to reset the 'self adjuster' of the rear shoes. Basically I have to move out the rear adjusters so that the cylinders will have less travel to activate braking to the shoes.
Note that even the hand brake will not work!

Does anyone know wheter I am setting wrongly the self adjusters or should I replace both self adjusters?

Hi i not sure what type you got on a bravo/a. but if there the screw type with a little wheel, it may be you have them in the wrong sides of the car, one has a clockwise thread one has anti clock wise thread.

Yes it can be an issue, but I do not remember that I swapped the self adjusters but Its worth to be sure. How can I be sure about this?

The adjusters should be replaced with the pads. If you did not change them last time the pads were changed then they could simply be worn out.
