My girlfreinds N reg Punto has just failed its MOT on a faulty rear raduis arm. Ive bought the replacement part, £60, and thought I'd have a go at the job myself.
I've a couple of questions that perhaps someone can answer?
Once all the bolts are off, is it possible to remove the coil spring by supporting the arm on an Hydrollic jack, gradually lowering the arm with the jack or do I need to get hold of a coil spring suppressor?
Also does the anti-roll bar need to be removed completely?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

My hubby did mine on my mk1 punt and he says you dont need a coil spring suppressor, you put the jack under the arm and remove all the bolts. My hubby did both of the rear arms at the same time and he completly removed the anti-roll bar, although if you are doing one you could get away with just undoing the one side. You might find it easier to remove it completly. Then lower the jack and remove the spring and pull out thew long center bolt.
Pm me if you need anymore help :)

Thanyou so much for the info. I will be undertaking the job on Wednesday, weather permitting! :)
