Radio problems

My radio was fine this morning until I hit a bump in the road and I lost all sound, the radio is lit up and functioning but just wont play sound, ive had radio out and checked all connections and all seem fine and ive checked the connections to the speakers. Any ideas as to whats wrong, its the original blaupunkt radio

Dont know what else you might have checked since posting this, but have you checked your antenna?

An old mate of mine had the same thing happen (sort of), he hit a speed bump hard, and his radio was never right after that until one day he realised that his antenna had actually fractured and perished over time, it just didnt carry a signal properly, replaced it and it was back to normal.

When you say Radio do you mean the whole unit on any other functions such as tape/cd/aux

Or is it just on the radio function thats failed

a bump to knock sound out is probably a weak cable now snapped, but wait til volexstu gets here, he's a guru at ICE
Even post it up in the ICE section as he hangs around there alot
