radio-gremlins in the works

I've recently bought a P reg 1.6sx and the radio seems to have a mind of its own.When I turned the car off the radio came on and would not turn off,I couldn't change stations,adjust volume etc,nothing seemed to work.The radio eventually turned itself off 10 miles down the road.As we know A RADIO IS ESSENTIAL.(to drown out the wife's nagging).Has anyone had this problem?(with the radio that is).
Any help would be appreciated

Hi,
There seems to be two options,
1- Wrong electrical connection
2- Stucked button/s

In both cases U must have it checked by a specialist.
