is the 899cc fuel tank the same as the one in the Sporting?

im pretty sure, i just need confirmation

it might not be because on some models the fuel filler enters the tank at a different place to others.

Yeah I reckon so Pete The difference in tanks, IIRC is with very early 899 Cinqs (i.e. without a fuel flap)

Correct, but livable with, if you aren't fitting a tank guard.
