General Question about Servicing

Hi

First time posting here and I have a question about servicing my lovely Stilo. It's due it's 24,000 mile service very soon and is still under the manufacturers warranty. This may be a silly question but it's my first time having to service any car. So what I want to know is do I have to pay for the first service or is this included in the warranty and does anyone have an idea of much this should cost. I called my local dealer and was quoted a price of £190 for the full service so I just want to double check that figure.

you need to pay for all services on a car (some manufactureres Hyundai, Daewoo and on some Rover models) throw in some free services for a period after you buy the car e.g. 3 years free services. Fiat have not historically done this (if at all?).

Think I paid about £165 for my 24k. Shop about as the labour rates at garages vary a bit and this impacts the final bill.

Hey thanks for the reply, I'll definitely shop around before I commmit to anything. If anyone else has experience of the 24k service I would be interested to hear how much you paid and/or any other information about servicing. Good/Bad experiences, things to look out for etc.
