Technical Punto wont start

Hi,

I got a 96 fiat punto, 1.0 single point injection.

It will not start, i have fuel and a spark and good battery and the engine will turn over proberly but it just wont fire,
If i disconnect the wire from the injector, it will run until it burns the fuel that has already been injected in to the throttle body, if i reconnect the injector while it is running then it immediatly cuts out, however, if i touch the wire to the injector for approx 1 second every few seconds then the car will run and rev up.
Any ideas?

Sounds like too much fuel.

Has it just started this or have you done anything to the car?
