General PUNTO 'SX' INSTRUMENTAL ON 'S'

Hi ppl, once again got another question for u lot. ANyone know if i can buy and just plug in the dash instruments for a SX in a S. Just that im havin the urgue to have a rev meter in. Plz let me knw if the punto s wiring is the same as the sx.

If not im considering a universal gauge with the rev meter goin along the inside windscreen arm, any1 fitted one lately?

sadly it's not a case of just plug it in and it will work
to get it to work, you need to tap into either the blue wire from the ecu, or the coil(differs between punto's, stupid, eh?)

IMO you'd be better off buying a seperate tacho

also, you'd have the problem of having to get the milage changed on the new clocks
