Technical punto+snow+kerb=stress

i did this yesterday and completely bent the lip of the wheel in :| was on full lock so the wheel hit the kerb face on, and the tracking and stuff seems absolutely fine, lucky escape i reckon! got another wheel with a tyre on it (bout 4k miles left in it) for a tenner from a breakers yard, man, theyre goldmines - go to one if you know exactly what you want - could save you a bundle!

well im very happy now i got out so luckily, i was totally missing the most obvious thing, how straight the wheel wasnt! it took the full impact and the tracking was well out, thanks for all your help guys trying to help me sort this out. it cost me £50 for tracking and second hand wheel with tyre swapped over and balanced.! cheers!

I'd bet the arm coming out the steering rack is bent rather than the track rod end, its a lot weaker.
