My Punto 90 ELX has just failed MOT due to "excessive wear of rear suspension radius arm inner bearings". This is on both sides. I understand (now) that this is a common problem on Puntos. Anyone any idea what it should cost to fix?

Bearings/bushes do not appear to be available separately, arms weigh in at up to £100 each depending on the model.

Cinqs suffer from this too, but Larkspeed sell powerflex rear bushes for them (although not listed...), have a look at www.larkspeed.com - drop them an email and they may be able to help.

Hi Puntogold

As far as I am aware Fiat made modifications to the bushs or the arms on MK1 Puntos would be good to get in touch with a Fiat dealer and see if its was on a Fiat Recall
