I have two questions.
1: I have a mk1 Punto diesel, and I've noticed at the side of the passenger seat on the floor (side nearest the passenger door, towards the back of the seat) a rubber membrane with the embossed picture of a fuel pump with a line running diagonally through it. Is this a fuel cut off switch, or a reset switch?
2: The diesel fuel filter bracket under the bonnet has a sensor or something screwed into the body of it (it's right next to the fuel pipe coming from the tank) I know the one that’s attached to the black plastic ring is the water in fuel sensor, but I don't know what the other one's for.
My Haynes manual doesn't list these items, so would appreciate some advice.
Thanks.
