Technical punto mk2 stereo

my stereo was being fun and stopped working untill i tapped the passenger side door then it would work if i didnt no sound came out any speakers then it just stopped working all together and when i plug stereo in it just keeps getting hotter and hotter till i burt myself the other day trying to remover it. it was that hot. any advice or solution would be much apprectiated

you might have a dead short in the speaker or wiring in the door you tapped
get the radio out before car sets fire

its just sitting in the hole its not plugged in how would i fix this problem

your gonna have to check the condition of the wires to speaker, could be melted coating causing a short
