Hello

Where would i be able to get a Plastic Induction Kit elbow from, as i have a silicon one at the moment and i have been advised that it will break down after a while, and may affect my engine?

So has anybody got any ideas of where i can get it from?

Thanks very much

It is unlikely that this happens in a very short time unless you do not look after your car.

It is also unlikely that you get a plastic one.

If you need to change it get a flouro lined one.

If you can't get it then pm me.

You must have gotten one of those focus kits did you? I got one of them and the elbow appears to be rubber, it is matt in apperence where as silicone is normally shiney, is there any way of telling the difference between rubber/silicone.

I have found some elbows on SFS website?

Will these be ok to use?

Also i know i will need a 90 degree elbow but what "Bore" size will it need to be?

This is the elbow it needs to replace:

You have to specify that it is flouro lined. The standard elbows from SFS and anyone else are siliconc without lining.

The throttle body end is 60mm diameter the other side I can't tell because I have never had one of these kits making my own.

sounds a bit daft m8 try the bend of a drain pipe.... thats what i use

a few people use bits of drain pipe, but here he has the breather pipe going in, so oil will eat the drain pipe
