these questions have probably been answered before but i'm fussy and looking for specific answers

just bought these, currently just have a new HU (Blaupunkt Casablanca mp56), i just wanted better sound than the standard speakers because they're just embarassing and sound poo, what i wanted to know is would there be noticeable difference in sound quality without having an amp wired up to power them? and what amp would be best for them, plus a subwoofer if i decided to hook them up to one?
