punto mk2 component help!

im looking to buy some components for my punto mk2, i understand the mounting depth is only 49mm though.. wondering if anyone has used the autoleads sak-1409 speaker adaptors, and what depth these increase it to?

Im sure that they will be fine, i didnt realise that they did them for the MK2 Punto. Basically they should be able to be modified in the unlikely case that they dont bring the speaker forward enough. You just add an MDF baffle.

oh ok, im not actually planning on fitting anything coz ill prob make a huge cock up of it, i get it all done at car audio centre, im sure theyll be able to sort it for me, was just wondering whether i needed the adaptors.. thanks for the reply

Not the Infamous Car Audio Centre who do nothing but rip people off. Yes unless you get shallow mount speakers you will need an adaptor.
