Technical Punto MK2 Cambelt Change

Hi, I'm looking to change the cambelt on the missus '51 plate 8v punto and wondered if the left handside engine mount needs disconnecting to get the belt off? I take it the wheel arch liner needs to come out etc and the top cambelt cover and knock sensor come off.

yes the engine mount does need to come off

knock sensor is round the back of the block you don't need to take that off

are you referring to the phase sensor near the cam vernier

cheers mate, so new cambelt, tensioner. Anything else while i've got it to bits? Alternator belt? How much are the engine mounts from Fiat anyone?

i said needs to come off not needs replacing

you wont need a new engine mount
