Technical punto mk2 1.2 8v high output alternator??

where can i get hold of a high/er ouput alternator for a:

mk2 1.2 8v "02"plate punto?

i have the standard 65amp alternator and my souns system has killed it due to huge amounts of current being taken out by the battery

hi matt, i have a slightly older mk2 and want to install an amp and new speakers, but worried about the alternator output being beefy enough to cope with the extra current (max 20A extra) without affecting the rest of the vehicle.

have you found a high output alternator or an alternative solution?

There are 2 alternator outputs
60amp and 65 amp

I believe there was a 70amp version as well in the 1.2 8v engines
the Diesel have like 120amp alternator - but they wont fit the 8v engine

As for his Sound System Sucking soo much that the battery is been sucked dry means
A - he current alternator isn't giving full Output - might give a 14v output at a low amerage
B - the Battery could be also so dead its making the alternator work over hard
C - The Sound System is drawning tooo much

the Options
- Upgrade Battery to Help with Winter and Sound System (diesel or HGT battery)
- Upgrade the alternator to Help match the battery - Ebay threw up this - he claims it'll fit the 1.2 8v in his add ---Clicky---
- Scrap the Huge Sound System, dont need a distraction does he now

Another option. Do some engineering to fit the 120A diesel alternator
