Styling Punto MK1 Alloy Wheel Help!

Hey guys im new on here and i am the proud owner of a black punto mk1! So far ive done subtle things such as the sound system and interor, but now ive saved up some money i would like to get some alloys..preferably 17"s. Thing is ive been reading on here and people say that they can rub on the wheel arch - I dont want to change the bodywork and im not planning to lower the car - so would i get rubbing if i put on 17"s with low profile tyres?

im not planning to lower the car

do not fit 17's then, fit 15's if your not lowering or you will look like a prat
