Hi there,
Haven't posted in a long time and my punto's nearly reaching 30,000 miles! Still running like a beaut!
Anyway, I wanted to ask a stupid question about the car radio. I have a JVC KDS-641 CD Radio installed in my Fiat Punto (2002) Dynamique 1.2 16v (the one from Carcraft I got a few months ago) the only downside really which bugs me a little is that it doesn't have RDS.
Is there any way which you can just change the detachable front of the radio without having to take the whole unit out and replace it with another model? Or is the radio programmed with a code? Do they have the same front for every model or is it different?
What I really would like to do is replace the detachable front with a similar JVC model which has RDS, so I can keep the current one spare.
Does anyone know of any dealers who do this? I'm not really that technically confident to take out the current unit and replace it with another!
