I have a 52reg punto and the heaters take longer than usual to heat up and when the car is stationary at lights or parked the air turns cool. I have checked the coolant and it's at maximum and the fans work on all 4 settings. Any suggestions?

How's the temperature gauge working? Steady at half-mast; or fluctuating all over the place...? If it's not rising to halfway, I'd suspect the thermostat. If it's not steady, and sometimes shoots up, probably an airlock... -- so: do you also hear any gurgling, behind the dashboard...?

Welcome to the Forum... -- I'm sure we'll get you sorted...! (y)

Temp gauge is steady but yes I heard gurgling!!! I thought ur was a pretty random thing to be doing! I only bought the car 2nth ago and it gurgled when I bought it. So looks like uve hit the nail on head with airlock...so how is it fixed plz :)

Try this guide...! (y)

The knack (and it can be quite a challenge, I'm afraid...) is to make sure you bleed the air out through both screws, until there's just liquid coming out... -- the one next to the radiator, and the one at the back of the engine bay: where the pipe goes into the car. Some people have found parking on a hill, with the front higher than the rear of the car, also helps...! ;)

Good luck; and let us know how you get on.... :)
