Technical punto gt runing probs

Hi all ok i have just got a punto gt turbo r reg totaly standerd vere nice car but it wont run right semes to be fule problem when you start it up it keeps cuting out and if you pump the pedal it just pops through the fillter when you drive it (when it gets fule through and will tick over) it will cruse along no probs but when on boost it pops coffs and spluters as it boosts up more around 4000 rpm all so when the fule cap is removed there is alot of presher there is this normal for the punto?? tryed runing it without the cap on and it was the same any help would be grate as i like the car a lot and would like to keep it thanks.

ok had a look at the punto today found out thay have air flow meater problems and i think thats whats rong with it if i unplug it it wont tick over but will rev up straght away not vere smoth but dose rev up so has ane one got a air flow meater for it cash wating.
