hay, i've been offered a GT engine with turbo, dump valve etc but wanted to check its the same fitting as the UT, i know its the same block just wasnt sure of the fitting.

also it has somthing to do withthe piston rings wrong with it, expensive to fix?

It could turn out quite expensive as if you really lucky the rings could of damaged the block :eek:

if it's rings and didn't damage the sleeves, then it won't be that much to fix, but you'll have to strip the engine and while your at it you can renew all the bearings etc.

whats this in terms of cost? and no answered my inital question yet, are the mounting points the same?

Ask in the punto section or on puntosports.co.uk although I think the blocks are the same there are a few differences that may cause problems...

Costs basically it depends on the damage done which you wont know until you have the engine in pieces..

Wouldn't say the engine is worth a gret deal though probably 50quid with kanckered rings..
