General Punto GT advice

I am considering whether buying a Punto GT would be a sensible option as most of them out there are getting on in years and miles.
Does anyone have any opinions and what are the main mechanical items likely to give trouble other than the usual Punto weaknesses most of which i think i've come across?

if u can get a GT go 4 it im still waitin for that day(w**ker insurance people)dnt no that much about the gt but iv ripped apart my little punto loads times.think a big prob cld b the cam belt as think if it snaps u can end up f**kin the whole engine bt if u replace it regularly 32000 miles i think sld b fine.
how can u ressist a GT i so want 1 now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
