the wiring is inside a rubber boot..

Having a look.. doesnt need to involve an electrician..

Its a visual check

Any competent garage is capable of that..

NOT kwik.fit though..

A broken wire isnt hard to spot

Or rather, I'll get the independent garage to check as the car is still sitting in their garage awaiting collection next Wednesday by breakdown guy

£130 + wiring will be a lot cheaper than 1300+

So, I thought I would update you ... Fiat took a look at the car a day earlier than planned and ... It was a fuse. The breakdown guy who initially came out to my wife put the wrong fuse in and that's why it blew again - £95
