Technical Punto 8V Engine loom

I have recently bought a Punto 1.2 8v as a collection of parts as a cheap first car for one of the kids. Having built most of it I find a I have a spare black wire with rectangular shaped connector on it at the end of the engine loom near the starter and alternator. Common sence would dictate that this is an earth as its black but I am unable to find a wiring diagram that shows it as an earth point. can anyone identify its location and purpose? Thanks

The starter has its 2 wires already
The Fat Red cable which also joins to the alternator

The Alternator has its battery cancel light wire
The Starter has the solenoid wire already

I would like to say Engine ECU earthing point - but im almost sure that comes out the Injection wiring loom area

So this has me baffeled...

I think it probably is something in that area. This is in the main loom up to the ECU plug that joins at the throttle body. the plug is the O/s one when the engine is in the car.
