Hi guys, completely new to cars (as lame as that sounds) I really want to put a cherrybomb glass pack on my mk2 ELX 16v...problem is, I looked at the exhaust layout and it doesn't seem as straight forward as I thought! I can't just take the old back box off and slide a cherrybomb on, can I? Any help would be appreciated, cheers!

Not always true with police attention fingers don't be so judging!
I have a big exhaust yet not chavvy one not too loud but enough to make the police hint I'm up to no good...yeah right that's just guys ripped into and called boy racers. So what am I'm saying if you are a good driver and not acting like a tit you'll be fine. But personally if you dont want to be branded a chav I'd think twice about getting a cherrybomb exhaust... now either get sportex or custom made exhaust then youll get some of my kudos for using your brain

something a little "different" is fine..
but the novelty of driving a "blue-light magnet" will soon wear off
AFAIK they can ONLY give you a produce-your-documents ticket ONCE EVERY day..!!
doesn't mean you won't get pulled more often though :bang:
TBH on something as relatively SLOW as a 1242 in a punto.. you do NOT want LOUD as it will sound rediculous

a simple upgrade is to remove te center box and fit the pipe from the 1.2 8 valve
it'll be a bit louder and drive a bit better
