was its bodywork aluminum, or an alloy - or anything bar bog stanard steel?

As far as I was aware they were just standard steel, but it's not like I've never been wrong before.

they are an alloy but they rarely have rust problems main areas are just in front of the rear wheels and round the windscreen both easy and cheep to fix mine had started to go infront of the rear wheels but after 15 years what more can you ask for!
