Not as many modders on here though. I bet there will be a much larger showing at Brooklands where very good examples of standard cars will be there.

i wont mention the ff stand, the cars that where on it was great but a real poor turnout after all the initial interest - must be a kick in the teeth for the organiser

we turned up at 8.30 on the sunday mornin but were under the impression that it was too late to get on the stand despite really wanting to.

think FF is unlucky that its members are often members of other clubs too. saw lots of cars on other stands with the FF stickers, so technically the FF was all over the show

:yeahthat: Most of the cars we have are standard. And we have had a good turn out for the AI events, it appeals to more people.

I personally am not into highly modified cars.

I enjoy looking at a well modified car as much as the next man. I really apreciate quality enginering and technical skill. What I don't like though is the half naked women draped over them. Really, is there any need. If you want to stare at women get a girlfriend or join a porn site. It just cheapens the event and makes it chavy - just like a copy of max chava or whatever it's called.

Strange that, I tend to prefer to look at the cars rather than the half naked girlies and folk think i'm strange! Being a petrolhead is one thing... perv is another I suppose!

If some bint was spread across my car i'd tell her to GTF off. There's no point in it, I'd imagine most people are there to look at the cars, and it puts people off who wanna bring the wife/girlfriend and even the kids. My kids would be so embarrased seeing it, they even look away when people kiss on the tele Silly sods
