Thought I'd better start my project page as I've got a few things left to do on the car.

As you know I've done the following so far,

Tuning box,
Pipex air filter,
Badgeless grill,
Vinyled front behind numberplate.
18" alloys, Gold(ish). ;)

To be done,

Front Splitter

New back lights, black lexarse, but seen them on another grande and they looked sweet. :)

Thinking about a black mesh bottom grille for the front.
Lowered at some point.

Hmm I will have to see the wheels on before I judge, nice wheel but its the colour... might be too similar to the yellow.

Will need to see it on the Grande tbh, but I think it could look fantastic with the design and size of wheel you've picked :)

The whole gold alloy thing automatically makes people think you're trying to make your car look like a Subaru, but if anyone says that to you, just tell them the Renault Clio Williams had them first

I've mocked up a pic with the alloys, but its not great. I'm hoping the gold will kind of blend but who knows lol, they weren't my first choice in colour(wanted anthracite but they stopped doing them with tyre package I could afford) but I like the style so if they do look awful I can always go for a refurb and paint lol.

Not be nasty, but that colour just doesn't suit that car at all. It'll need to be a slightly darker yellow (closer to the colour of the car.)

I'm holding judgment until I see them on the car.....I'm not sweating over it. They can be resprayed if I think they don't look nice. ;)

Bare in mind that my cars picture was edited and is a darker yellow in that picture anyway, also darkened the alloys too.

At least they aren't black or white, seen white alloys on a yellow car and they were awful, and feel everyone is doing black these days. :(

Ok, listening to scoop, I've redone the picture to edit the pic without playing with the editing of darkening the alloys as well(if that makes any sense after a few whiskeys lol)

I've a feeling he wanted the alloys darker though.....oopsy :)

You have have 205/40 R18's on them (unless you need the 215 for the width of the rim (IIRC 7.5-8.5J is the 215 region))

Looks quite nice, as said theres no sight of yellow on those rims in the pictures. Maybe time to play with those ISO settings on the camera :)

They are defo 215's, says on the tyre rim.

as for my iso settings, try ios settings lol. Taken on my iPhone at my folks(wasn't expecting them to arrive at my folks till weds so didnt expect them to be sitting there when i went through) and they are actually not very gold looking to the eye neither. ;)

However, will take out my dslr tomorrow and take a photo tomorrow. ;)

35? i though it looked about that, just thought they'd be 40 or even 45''s but a trick of the light and angles just made them look much thinner!

Hows the ride with the bigger wheels and rubber band type tyres?

As it stands, i like em :) i think it perhaps looks a little under tyred because the sidewalls are so thin, but if the car was lowered a fraction (about 20mm...Eibachs?), it'd pretty much solve that too :) The back actually looks near spot on as it is, just really the front it shows.... good excuse to give it some stance there ;)
