Hi all, my mams Renault 19 has been overheating, so i replaced the expansion tank cap, the thermostat, and flushed through all the pipes, and the radiator, but it still overheats, and the radiator is stone cold as is the bottom hose. Today i took the water pump off and that works, so can anybody think of what it could be before i buy a new radiator.

IIRC the older renault engines can be a mare for air locks.
Yes I agree with Custard an the fact you have said the bottom hose is cold says AIRLOCK to me 
Yip, you need to ake out the front bleed screw and wait for the bubbles to **** out.
